The Brompton Pitch, 2013

The Brompton Pitch was an open-air showcase for design, produced in collaboration with Disegno. It took place over three days during the London Design Festival (2013), located on the prestigious Exhibition Road between the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Science Museum.

The studio was invited to document the activities at The Brompton Pitch in a hand made publication, designed, printed and bound throughout the three days. Content for the publication will be gathered from The Brompton Pitch participants and the general public throughout the event and will be delivered to the public at the end of the third and final day.

Our purpose was to engage the public in the [our] design process by performing each stage of the production live, dispelling the 'black magic' of graphic design. We encouraged discussion, advice and contributions from members of the public, fellow designers and a class of primary school students.
