Porta Nigra, 2012

Publication and invitation cards for a winter exhibition for Hidde van Seggelen Gallery. Porta Nigra (literaly meaning ‘black gate’) is a ancient Roman city gate in Trier, Germany. The show was a group exhibition of contemporary artists using the colour black.

Invitations were in the guise of postcards with different fronts, using found postcard images of the gate. The 24-page publication is printed black only on a newsprint-like material and saddle stiched with black wire.
